Vibe coding means instead of spending most of your time typing, debugging and wrestling with technical details, you can increasingly describe what you want, give AI the right context, break the work into manageable chunks, and then evaluate what it produces. AI significantly lowers the cost and practicality of experimentation, allowing you to try more ideas, explore multiple solutions, and tackle projects that previously seemed too difficult or uneconomic.

As AI produces more work, you need faster feedback, stronger verification, modular systems, and better judgment to keep everything under control. Ultimately, the human role moves upward. You become less like a line cook doing every task yourself and more like a head chef who sets direction, defines standards, orchestrates the work of others, and then decides what good looks (and tastes) like. The real advantage of vibe coding comes not from coding faster, but from learning how to direct intelligence effectively.
