How do you stop procrastinating? At its heart, procrastination is not a discipline problem – it's much more a permission problem.

你遲遲不動作,是想等待適當時機出現。克服拖延的關鍵就是停止等待,允許自己即使做得不夠好,也要行動。

要擺脫拖延,可以採用「DPDR系統」:

D 夢想你想實現的目標(10%)。

P 計畫達成的方法(15%)。

D 動手去做,採取行動(70%)。

R 檢討有哪些做法奏效(5%)。

DPDR系統最棒的地方,在於它可以反覆修正且不斷重複。你可以循環反覆,一次比一次進步。當行動最終跟上意圖,你的人生自然會變得不再平凡,甚至令人讚嘆。DPDR追求的不是完美,而是動能。善用這套系統,把拖延換成進展,把「總有一天」變成「就是今天」,允許自己出類拔萃。

You hold off waiting for the right moment to arise. The key to overcoming procrastination is to stop waiting and give yourself permission to move, even if you do so imperfectly.

To stop procrastinating, use "The DPDR System":

D Dream what you want to achieve (10 percent).

P Plan how to do it (15 percent).

D Do something, take action (70 percent).

R Review what worked (5 percent).

The great thing about the DPDR system is it is iterative and repeatable. You can run the loop over and over improving each time. When your actions finally match your intentions, your life can then become remarkable and noteworthy. The goal of DPDR is not perfection but momentum. Use it to trade delays for progress, to turn your "somedays" into "todays", and to give yourself permission to excel.
